RAH REIS

Counselling & Psychotherapy

"If the highest aim of a captain were to preserve his ship, he would keep it in port forever.."

Thomas Aquinas

Each session offers a gentle space to slow down and listen to what is stirring in the mind, heart, and soul.
Through conversation, reflection, and embodied presence, we attend to what seeks expression, whether a dream, an inner restlessness, or a longing for clarity.

Guided by trauma-informed practice, a Christian understanding of the person, and depth-psychological perspectives, our work unfolds at the pace that feels right for you. Reason can illuminate what faith intuits, just as symbols and images reveal what the intellect cannot yet name.

Together we approach your inner life with patience and reverence, trusting that truth, integration, and healing emerge when the soul is genuinely heard.

" I pay my respect to their Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today, as we work towards a shared future together"

  • Adults dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, grief, trauma after‑effects and burnout.

  • Highly sensitive or empathic individuals who pick up on subtle relational cues and need a therapist attuned to energetic dynamics.

  • Clients seeking personal growth and faith-aligned work rather than quick symptom suppression, people who want to explore patterns, core beliefs, and life stories in depth including connection with God.

  • Creatives and seekers, anyone who values imagination, dream work, symbolism, and existential philosophies.

How can I help you?

My work is trauma-informed and grounded in a Christian philosophical view of the human person as inherently oriented toward truth, goodness, and wholeness. I also draw on person-centred foundations, CBT, mindfulness, and somatic principles to support each client’s unique needs. In addition, my practice is influenced by Jungian depth psychology, which honours the symbolic language of the unconscious and the inner wisdom revealed through dreams, imagery, and archetypal patterns.

The four pillars of my approach

1. Trauma-Informed Presence

A commitment to safety, attunement, and nervous-system regulation.
This pillar honours the pace of the body and the lived impact of trauma, creating a space where clients feel grounded, seen, and supported.

2. Christian Philosophical Anthropology

Guided by the belief that every person is oriented toward truth, goodness, and wholeness.
This framework holds human dignity at the centre and views healing as a journey toward deeper integration of mind, heart, spirit, and purpose.

3. Person-Centred & Evidence-Based Practice

Drawing on person-centred foundations, CBT, mindfulness, and Gestalt principles.
This pillar supports clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful change through thoughtful, collaborative work tailored to each client’s needs.

4. Jungian Depth & Symbolic Understanding

An openness to the wisdom of dreams, symbols, and the unconscious.
This pillar honours the inner language of the psyche, inviting transformation through imagination, archetypal meaning, and the deeper story trying to emerge.
